Who Was Milton Friedman?

Back in February, Paul Krugman asked the question. Now, Edward Nelson and Anna Schwartz (one of Friedman's co-authors, and a distinguished scholar in her own right) have answered. Both are worth reading in full, but I think Nelson & Schwartz get the better of it.
