Mac Attack

The Economist examines McCain's policy proposals and finds them wanting.

Still, McCain is beginning to emerge as my preferred GOP candidate. I could live with Thompson or Romney also, but Thompson doesn't seem to have a chance and Romney would get creamed in a general election. So, McCain is starting to look like the best GOP candidate. I would be very happy with a McCain vs. Obama election (and I would hope for Obama to win).
