hey. n. was at work and heard about soandso hiphop artist on npr and googled him and somehow was directed to a vbm post on vagrant and started reading and all of a sudden found a post by you. you never told me you had a blog. bored housewives appreciate such things.

well, it didn't seem noteworthy. i have like two friends who don't read other blogs, so i just kind of aggregate shit for their sake. you see, i graduated in December, and haven't had anything to do since then until last week when i finally got a job.

by the way, don't know if you know, but i'm off to grad school this fall. not entirely sure where yet (i've got a few offers, tho not as many as i'd hoped for), but it's looking like UNC-Chapel Hill.

what hip-hop artist? we don't talk about too many on Vagrant. if it was recent, it'd almost have to be Why?, who has one of my favorites for the past 3 or 4 years. i don't remember talking about any on the VBM board recently.

will! you graduated before me. i never would have guessed that that would have been possible.

scrubius pip. can't say i know what the hell that is. it was a very old post from 2006, probably somewhere near a post on child rearing that n. found entertaining.

i like raleigh/durham pretty well. it's where n. and i met up. we explored the duke gardens, tho. sad to hear about the murdered girl at UNC last week.

how is ruthy? i think i must always call when she's working.

we are moving up to minneapolis or st. paul in a year.

i am 27 now, isn't that strange?

R is good. she does work a lot, and pretty much all of it is afternoons and evenings. she's usually off either Mon. or Tues., and those are usually the times to get ahold of her. or Sun. night.

moving back to MN? wow. well, good for you guys.

call sometime. i'm on AIM a lot too.

by the way, Que, i can't believe that you (or is it just N.?) could support Ron Paul. what's up with that?

oh, i don't know. hopefully i don't betray myself to be too vapid these days, but honestly, some of his ideas sound neat to me, and i think he's an honest guy...

and he supports the deregulation of midwivery, which is something i can believe in from my own experiences.

it looks like i will be voting for obama come nov., tho.

the match-up i wanted from the start was Obama/McCain, and it looks like i'm gonna get it. i was most scared of a Clinton/Giuliani match-up, which looked likely for awhile, and i'm very happy that that won't happen.

since last year, tho, McCain has skewed right on all the issues that i liked about him (immigration & torture, especially), and sounds even crazier about Iran and China than Bush.

so i'm for Obama. if he doesn't make it past the convention, then i'd vote for McCain over Clinton.
