Trade-Offs

The biggest problem with left-wing economic platforms is often that trade-offs are ignored. In a great article in TAP, James Galbraith makes the point exceedingly well on the topic of trade. the lesson should be clear: populists who mean well often do much more damage than good, and thinking through the full consequences of action is necessary.
